Education and Leadership--Programs for Youth

The Department of Education and Leadership Development at The YWCA WNY provides distinct programs through our site at the JFK Center at 114 Hickory St.

Girls, Inc. provides educational programs for girls ages 10-18 in the following areas:  preventing adolescent pregnancy, media literacy, economic literacy, and science and math education.

The Youth Wishing Self Esteem Enhancement Program (YWSEE) and JOBS Program aim to prevent high school dropout, promote healthy choices, and expand career awareness for adolescent youth ages 16-18.

The YWCA of WNY is a United Way Agency.
